Portugal e São Tomé e Príncipe reforçam cooperação na área judicial

O Conselho Superior da Magistratura e o Conselho Superior dos Magistrados Judiciais de São Tomé e Príncipe assinaram, no passado dia 27 de maio, um protocolo com o objectivo de reforçar a cooperação na área judicial.
Assinaram este protocolo o Vice-Presidente do Conselho Superior da Magistratura, Juiz Conselheiro José Lameira, e o Presidente do Supremo Tribunal de Justiça e do Conselho Superior dos Magistrados Judiciais de São Tomé e Príncipe, Juiz Conselheiro Manuel Silva Gomes Cravid, em cerimónia que decorreu na sede do Conselho, em Lisboa.
No âmbito deste protocolo de parceria, os dois serviços pretendem promover a consolidação dos serviços de inspeção, a formação de juízes e funcionários judiciais, e a organização e funcionamento das secretarias judiciais de São Tomé e Príncipe.
O documento agora assinado prevê, ainda, a colaboração no desenvolvimento de uma página online para publicação de jurisprudência dos Tribunais de São Tomé e Príncipe e na adoção de regulamentação interna por parte do Conselho Superior dos Magistrados Judiciais.
Referindo-se à assinatura deste protocolo, o Juiz Conselheiro Manuel Gomes Cravid destacou a importância da abertura desta via de trabalho com os magistrados judiciais portugueses.
