Tribunais de Execução de Penas – Lei n.º 9/2020

1 – Os cinco Tribunais de Execução de Penas (TEP) de Lisboa, Porto, Coimbra, Évora e Ponta Delgada estiveram hoje em pleno funcionamento, com o reforço de quadros que se afigurou necessário à aplicação das normas excecionais previstas na Lei n.º 9/2020;
2 – Até às 17 horas beneficiaram de decisão judicial de libertação um total de 240 reclusos em todo o país, estimando-se que, até ao fim do dia de hoje, o número seja superior;
3 – O Conselho Superior da Magistratura assegura, assim, que o sistema judicial de execução de penas, e os profissionais que nele trabalham, têm plena capacidade de dar integral e rápido cumprimento às disposições da Lei que hoje entrou em vigor.
