1 – Os cinco Tribunais de Execução de Penas (TEP) de Lisboa, Porto, Coimbra, Évora e Ponta Delgada estão hoje em pleno funcionamento, com o reforço de quadros que se afigurou necessário à aplicação das normas excecionais previstas na Lei n.º 9/2020;

2 – Só durante a manhã de hoje e até às 12:00 beneficiaram de decisão judicial de libertação um total de 100 reclusos em todo o país, dividindo-se por 34 em Lisboa, 25 no Porto, 22 em Évora e 19 em Coimbra.

3 – O Conselho Superior da Magistratura reafirma que o sistema judicial de execução de penas, e os profissionais que nele trabalham, têm plena capacidade de dar integral e rápido cumprimento às disposições da Lei que hoje entrou em vigor.

4 – O Conselho Superior da Magistratura comunicará novo balanço ao final da tarde.
